Education
The Attorney-at-law Alfredo Issa Holguín studied his Law Degree at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Chihuahua in May 1998. He has several postgraduate studies, such as a Diploma of the European Union and International Intellectual Property through the “Tulane Center for European Union and Intellectual Property Law” at Amsterdam, Holland; Brussels, Belgium and Luxembourg in August 2000. Furthermore, Mr. Issa received his LL.M degree in Commercial and International Law from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, in December 2000, and he’s a PhD in Law candidate at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where his Doctoral Thesis project is currently in approval. In addition, he has a Diploma of Advanced Studios (Diploma de Estudios Avanzados “DEA”), certifying his research proficiency within the doctoral program in February 2011.

Attorney at law, practicing since 1998, mainly in the civil, commercial and patrimonial criminal litigation.
He has previously served as a partner in three important law firms from Chihuahua, specifically in the litigation area, and providing legal and corporate advice. He has represented important local, national and foreign companies, defending their interests to the competent law courts in various types of litigation; as well as designing legal strategies to prevent patrimonial and legal contingencies.
Within his activity, he has advised companies in the Corporate and Business Law areas. He also served as Director at the Legal Center in Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Chihuahua, from 2005 to 2013.
