Legal education:
Master of Law Arturo González Rascón graduated from the Law Faculty of “Universidad Autónoma de
Chihuahua” in 1971. He presented his professional exam on December 5th, 1972. Has taken several
diplomas, including: Corporate Takeovers in the E.U. and U.S., offered by The University of Illinois,
College of Law in Urbana-Champaign, Foreign Trade offered by the World Trade Institute (WTI) in Bern, Switzerland. Has a Master ́s degree in Financial Law at the Law Faculty of “Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua”, as well as a Master ́s degree in Taxes by the Accounting Faculty of the same University. He’s currently studying for a Doctorate in Law at the Law Faculty of “Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua”. He was a professor in the Accounting and Administrative Faculty of “Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua”, as well as a professor in the Law Faculty of the same University from 1972 to 1980. He’s a Doctor of Laws candidate at the Law Faculty of “Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua”.
Trayectoria
Master of Law Arturo González Rascón began his professional practices as a public defender attached to the Villa Almada Minor Court. Subsequently, he took office as Attorney General of Labor Defense in the state of Chihuahua. From 1973 to 1980 he was a Founding Partner of MANUEL E. RUSSEK Y ASOCIADOS firm in the city of Chihuahua, Chihuahua. In 1981 he founded his own firm CONSULTORÍA LEGAL EMPRESARIAL, S.C., where he ́s the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
He has been a member of several Board of Directors, such as AMEAC (Asociación de Maquiladoras y Exportadoras), COPARMEX (Centro Empresarial de Chihuahua), CANACINTRA (Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Transformación) and in Centro Chihuahuense para la Calidad y la Productividad. On October 4th, 1998, he was appointed Attorney General of the state of Chihuahua, a position he occupied until January 7th, 2002, date in which he was named Secretary of Municipal Development until November 30th, 2002.
Currently and since December 1st, 2002 he has been reinstated to Consultoria Legal Empresarial, S.C. as responsible for the Corporate law area, where he has performed excellently.
